Australian Activists Take Action Against the Cruel Live-Export Industry
Every year, millions of terrified sheep and cattle are hauled to Australian docks to be transported from Australia to the Middle East. While they are being crammed and herded onto the ships, they become so frightened and confused that they jump high into the air and come crashing to the ground, collapsing in a frenzy. For those who survive the grueling trip, the nightmare has just begun. Concerned citizens from all over Australia recently gathered in Devonport, Tasmania, to protest the export of 73,000 sheep to Kuwait.
